Dr. Olivia (Yue) Geng is a life sciences executive with more than 15 years of experience spanning drug discovery, advanced research platforms, biotechnology commercialization, and strategic growth across North America and Asia-Pacific. She currently serves as Executive Director, Strategic Partnerships & Innovation at Altea Investments, a Hillhouse Investment-backed life sciences platform developing and investing in research and innovation infrastructure across Asia-Pacific. In this role, she leads strategic partnerships with universities, research institutes, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, investors, and government agencies to accelerate scientific innovation and strengthen cross-border life sciences ecosystems.

Prior to Altea, Dr. Geng spent nearly seven years at Berkeley Lights (now Bruker Cellular Analysis), where she held several executive leadership roles. As Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Platform Business, she led a global business with approximately US$70 million in annual revenue. Previously, she established and scaled the company’s Asia-Pacific commercial organization from the ground up, building its presence across key regional markets. Earlier in her career, she held scientific and commercial roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, InSphero, and BioDuro.

Dr. Geng holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University and a BS in Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
