Sara Escola is Associate Director and Head of Regulatory Affairs Europe at PTC Therapeutics, where she leads regulatory strategy across the product lifecycle for rare disease programs. With deep experience in European orphan drug development, she manages multiple marketing authorization applications and regulatory activities from early development through post-launch, including the development and maintenance of paediatric plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams, to deliver high-impact outcomes for patients. Sara holds an MSc in Biotechnology and brings a results-driven, patient-focused approach to advancing therapies for patients with high unmet medical needs.
