Yichao Fan is currently the Executive Director of AstraZeneca International Business Development and AZ-CICC Healthcare Investment Fund, responsible for equity investment of biotechs and early rare disease BD activities. Dr.Fan has led multiple investment deals—including YolTech, Eccogene, Danatlas, Cholesgen, GenAssist, Rgenta, etc—and has participated in in-China-for-Global business development projects e.g. Cholesgen and Syneron, etc. Before joining AstraZeneca, Dr.Fan served as the Executive Director of WisdowMont Asset Management, the Principle Scientist of Techno Derma Medicines, and the Research Fellow of Novartis Institute of Biomedical Research (China). She holds a Ph.D. degree in Medical Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a B.Sc from the University of Science and Technology of China.
