Matt Diamond

Managing Director, Client Capital at Sequoia Investment Management Co. Ltd. (SIMCo)

Matt joined SIMCo in July 2022 as Managing Director. He works with new and existing investors across products, and is responsible for evaluating and proposing new strategies.

He has nearly 30 years’ experience in investment management, principal investments, and investment banking, including equity capital markets and M&A.

He led extensive fund-raising and new product development activities, including at InfraRed Capital Partners, notably the launch of Europe’s leading listed renewables infrastructure fund, TRIG, and at Swiss Life Asset Managers Real Estate.

Previously, he held senior roles at Macquarie Capital and GE in both Europe and Asia.

He holds an MBA from INSEAD and MA in Classics from the University of Oxford.
