Juan Betanzo brings over 15 years of financial leadership in both public and private biotech companies in the greater Boston area. Currently as the Vice President of Strategic Finance at EyePoint, he plays a pivotal role in steering the company’s financial strategy, capital formation, and overseeing the FP&A and Treasury functions. Prior to joining EyePoint, Juan held senior finance positions at Celsius Therapeutics, Enzyvant, and Travere Therapeutics. Juan was instrumental in several high-profile strategic transactions, including AbbVie’s acquisition of Celsius in 2024. Juan holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and an MBA from Babson College.
