Jessica Schaefer is the Founder and CEO of Capital V Strategies, an AI-powered communications and venture firm serving the founders, CEOs, and investors shaping fintech.

She is building CapV around a simple idea: as AI takes on more repetitive work, human judgment, trust, relationships, and strategic counsel become even more valuable. The firm uses AI to increase speed and capacity while continuing to grow its team, not reduce it. That same lens informs how Jessica evaluates the companies CapV backs: what work should be automated, what should be augmented, and where human expertise remains essential.

Jessica brings more than 20 years of experience across communications, fintech, and venture. She founded Bevel in 2017 and grew it from a bootstrapped startup into an eight-figure firm with more than 70 employees before its 2023 sale at a combined $75 million valuation. Her work has included clients such as Acorns, Better.com, Point72, Greycroft, Public.com, Torch Capital, ClockTower Ventures, YieldStreet, Jefferies, RBC, and Moody’s. Before Bevel, she led communications for Steve Cohen’s Point72 and Point72 Ventures.

She has been named to Business Insider’s Top Financial PR Experts, Crain’s New York Notable in Marketing & PR, and the Innovate Finance Women in FinTech Powerlist.
