Arvind Subramanian is a senior manager research analyst for Morningstar Research Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc. He is based in Singapore and focuses on Asia fixed income strategies as well as Asia-based asset managers.

Prior to joining Morningstar in 2023, Subramanian spent over a decade with the fixed income investment team at IDFC Asset Management Company Limited in India. He had progressed from a credit analyst to fund manager and head of credit research over his tenure. He started his career at ICRA Limited (a Moody’s Investors Service Company) in 2009 as a credit analyst in the corporate sector ratings team.

Subramanian holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Anna University in Chennai and a master’s degree in business administration from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.
