Ben Horowitz is a Founding Engineer at Hyperspell, the company brain: a permission-aware memory system that consolidates institutional knowledge for people and AI agents. He has built or shaped nearly every part of the product and its infrastructure, from data ingestion to the permissions model that governs access.

Previously, Ben led Conversational AI at Prepared, building voice agents for emergency call centers, and led Privacy Platform at Headway, responsible for all PHI and data access under HIPAA and SOC 2. At Segment he owned Integrations, then led GDPR and CCPA compliance automation after the Twilio acquisition. At WeWork, he built SOX compliant software infrastructure.
