Anne Mezzenga is the founder of Retail Field Report, a media outlet dedicated to telling the human stories behind some of retail's biggest brands. Most recently, Anne served as Co-CEO of Omni Talk Retail, a media company she co-built into one of the most successful and fastest-growing trade publications in the retail industry — earning her recognition as a top retail influencer and NRF Top Retail Voice, where she is known for her expert commentary on the future of retail and emerging industry trends.

Anne serves on boards for Simbe, Firework, Buncha, Broadhead, and Delivery Solutions (acquired by UPS), bringing both strategic perspective and deep industry expertise to each organization.

Before co-founding Omni Talk, Anne was an executive at Target, where she led the company's Store of the Future project. Her career has spanned advertising, media, and retail — including leadership roles at agencies Martin Williams and Fallon, and time as a producer and reporter at NBC Universal in New York and Minneapolis FOX affiliate KMSP. A University of Minnesota journalism graduate, Anne's roots in storytelling have shaped every chapter of her career.

From 2014 to 2022, Anne also owned and operated three boutique fitness facilities in the Twin Cities, managing everything from marketing to day-to-day operations — a testament to the entrepreneurial drive that has defined her professional journey.
