Ben Rich is CEO and Co-Founder of UtilityOn, the award-winning platform that eliminates the complexity of electricity meter connections for Texas home builders. In just four years in the Texas market, UtilityOn now connects approximately 30% of all single-family home builds in the state — saving builders hours and sometimes days per site at no cost.

UtilityOn has expedited over 45,000 meters for builders ranging from national names like DR Horton, K. Hovnanian, and Ashton Woods to family-owned operators across the state.

Ben brings 24 years of energy industry experience to UtilityOn. He previously founded ConnectAssist in Australia in 2007, building it into the country's leading new-connections portal for residential builders before scaling the company through acquisition. He brought that playbook to Texas to tackle the same fragmented utility landscape for American home builders.

Ben is a member of the Greater Houston Builders Association and the Dallas Builders Association. UtilityOn won the 2023 TAB Star Award for Best Business Solution.
