Cilian Ó Gógáin leads the Investor Services franchise in Europe, focussing on delivering distinctive solutions to clients across the Asset Manager, Asset Owner and Banks Segments. Before assuming his current role, Cilian served as Global Business Manager in Securities Services, in this capacity from 2015 to 2022, he led the transformation and expansion of the Custody & Fund Services global franchise adding significant growth, driving client solutions and delivering operational improvements.

Cilian’s career at Citi began in 1999, accumulating in 26 years of extensive experience within the Custody & Fund Services industry. His diverse background spans product development, client coverage and operations, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the sector.

He is an alumnus of the National University of Ireland, Maynooth where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Finance.
