Giovanni D’Alesio is an Executive Director on the Alternative Capital Markets team within Asset and Wealth Management, where he is responsible for Public Alternatives and Hedge Funds across discretionary and advisory private clients’ mandates.

Giovanni was formerly at GAM as an Investment Director and Head of Research for its Alternative Investment Solutions business managing portfolios across hedge funds and private assets.

Prior to that, Giovanni spent eight years at Capital Generation Partners, a multi-family office based in London, where he was Partner and Head of Investment Origination.

Giovanni started his career at fund of hedge funds Unifortune Asset Management as an Investment Analyst and subsequently Head of Research. Giovanni holds an MSc in Economics from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi and a master’s in finance from London Business School.
