James is a Partner in Evelyn Partners’ International & UHNW teams where he specialises in looking after multi-generation and multi-jurisdictional families of significant means, managing their investments, family governance, wealth preservation, and philanthropic strategies.

Having started his career in the M&A team at Citigroup in Frankfurt in 2005, he joined what became Evelyn Partners in 2011 as an Investment Analyst, becoming a Partner of the combined group in 2022.

Outside of Evelyn he is Deputy Chair of STEP, a global organisation of over 23,000 private client advisers across more than 100 countries. He also is a member of the Advisory Council of the UHNW Institute, a member of the International Committee at the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments as well as member of the Family Firm Institute and the Institute of Family Governance.
