Michael Pedroni is the Founder and CEO of Highland Global Advisors, a Washington-based consultancy providing strategic counsel on geopolitics, financial regulation, and global policy to financial services clients.

Michael brings three decades of experience in economic policy leadership, regulation, and geopolitical strategy. He led inter-agency economic coordination at the White House; served four Treasury Secretaries under Presidents Bush, Obama, and Trump; established and directed the first Treasury Markets Room to prepare markets analysis for the President’s Daily Briefing; and was posted to Brussels as the U.S. Financial Attaché to the European Union.

Michael also has deep private-sector expertise focused on asset management, having led ICI Global and the international and research teams at Managed Funds Association. In addition to serving clients of Highland Global Advisors, he chairs several asset management advisory boards.
