Senior Portfolio Manager in Alternative Credit at BNPP AM Alts

Xavier Lassau joined AXA IM Alts (now BNPP AM Alts) in 2018 as a Senior Portfolio Manager in Alternative Credit. He plays a key role in the portfolio management of multi-strategy private credit and is the lead portfolio manager of the flagship evergreen multi-strategy private credit fund, investing across strategies ranging from Direct Lending to Asset-Backed Finance, within the BNPP AM Alts Private Credit platform.

Prior to joining AXA IM Alts, Xavier was a Portfolio Manager at Amundi, where he co-managed a €2.5bn open-ended ABS and CLO fund. He also advised the European Central Bank as part of its ABS Purchase Programme under Quantitative Easing, playing a central role in the acquisition of €20bn of ABS.

Xavier began his career at Natixis Investment Management in the Portfolio Research and Consulting Group, where he was responsible for portfolio construction for institutional clients.

He holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance from ENSAE and Paris Dauphine University and is a CFA charterholder.
