Abdul Salam is the SVP and Head of Underwriting at Ease Capital, a technology-enabled balance sheet lender specializing in multifamily real estate debt. Leading a lean, high-performing underwriting team, Abdul oversees credit decisions on bridge loans for value-add and mixed-use multifamily transactions across the country — helping borrowers move quickly and confidently on acquisitions, renovations, and asset repositioning.

Over his career, Abdul has underwritten more than $1 billion in commercial real estate debt, with a national footprint spanning diverse markets and property profiles. Before joining Ease Capital, he spent over 10 years at Freddie Mac as a multifamily underwriter, developing deep expertise in agency credit standards, risk assessment, and deal structuring across market cycles.
