Vali Lazarescu serves as Head of Capital Markets at Beacon, where he leads capital formation, investor partnerships, and strategic market initiatives across the firm’s investment platform. With nearly two decades of experience in institutional real estate and capital markets, he has held senior roles at BNP Paribas Investment Banking, Sprott Asset Management, and Centurion Asset Management, Canada’s largest private REIT. In addition, he started his own private equity firm, Paladin Capital, which he successfully scaled and exited prior to joining Beacon.

Vali is recognized for identifying strong investment themes, structuring complex transactions, and positioning companies for strategic growth and exit. A former NCAA Division I basketball player at The College of William & Mary, he brings discipline and competitive focus to every investment decision. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the John Molson School of Business and a Master’s in Business Administration and Management from Harvard University.
