11:30am-2:00pm
Brought to you by Meet Boston, Meeting Planners May Choose Between These Two Fantastic Activities Before Pharma Forum Kicks Off!
"Little Italy" for Foodies
Welcome to the North End Food Tour! I can't wait to take you through one of Boston's oldest and most important neighborhoods. Home to roughly 95 restaurants and 3 stops on the Freedom Trail, this is the perfect destination for a food tour while you're visiting Boston. The North End is most known for its multi-generation Italian American culture, as well as its abundance of seafood, markets, and cafes. The group will have tastings at 5 different locations while learning about the North End's rich history and its contribution to the growth of both Boston and America as a whole. During this tour, we'll taste the following:
- Clams’ casino from an over 50-year-old family-run waterfront restaurant
- An Italian sub from one of Boston's most acclaimed sandwich shops
- Florentine cannoli from a 24/7 bakery that's been a North End institution since 1926
- Tiramisu from the oldest Italian cafe in Boston
As a parting gift for joining the tour, you will receive a post-tour email highlighting my favorite places to visit, activities to enjoy, and hundreds of local food & drink options while you're in the Boston area.
High Tea & Cartography
About the High Tea:
- Nestled inside the Boston Public Library, The Map Room Tea Lounge boasts dramatic high-arched ceilings, an original chandelier, and rare historic maps of Boston. Guests enjoy craft cocktails and lounge bites while steps away, The Courtyard Tea Room hosts classic afternoon tea in a more traditional setting inspired by literary and architectural history.
About the Leventhal Map and Education Center Gallery:
- The Norman B. Leventhal Map & Education Center at the Boston Public Library is one of the nation’s most significant centers for the public study of historical geography. The Leventhal Center stewards more than a quarter million geographic objects in the BPL’s collections and is a leader in digital geographic projects. The collection features internationally significant holdings, with material ranging from the fifteenth century to the present day. Distinctive research collections include Boston and New England; urban plans; maritime charts; and maps relating to the American Revolutionary War era. Enjoy both a structured, guided tour, as well as time for exploring on your own.

Pharma Forum Anthem Music Video
Onsite last year, attendees submitted Pharma Forum-related lyrics via the ConnectMe app. Then, SongDivision crafted an original, unforgettable Anthem, capturing the essence of the event (it's wicked catchy, too!).
