Louis Day is a Team Leader in the Office of Evaluation and Inspections, a component within the Office of Inspector General (OIG) for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). OEI conducts national evaluations that focus on the prevention of fraud, waste, and abuse in programs administered by HHS. Mr. Day joined OEI as an analyst in 2018 and has since contributed to several studies involving prescription drug issues, including Medicare Part B drug pricing, the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, orphan drugs, and the availability of medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorders.
