Christian Heichele is a Partner at KPMG FS Germany and leads the Risk & Resilience Solutions practice. With more than 25 years of experience, he has advised FS clients across both developed and emerging markets on large-scale transformation initiatives covering the full spectrum of financial and non-financial risk. Christian has a strong IRB background - he has successfully led numerous full-scale IRB implementation and regulatory approval programs for national and international banking groups, covering model development as well as process and IT implications. He is currently supporting several rating service providers and mid-sized regional banks in developing streamlined and cost-efficient approaches to IRB readiness. Prior to his current role, Christian was based in the US and Russia.
