Jo Paisley is President of the GARP Risk Institute, the research and thought leadership for the Global Association of Risk Professional (or GARP), where she focused on climate and nature-related risk management education. Her career has spanned public sector (Bank of England, Financial Services Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority), private sector (HSBC and consulting at RBS and Lloyds) and now not for profit. Although trained as an economist, she has worked in a range of areas since her early days as a macroeconomist in the BOE, including statistics, banking supervision and risk management.
