Michele is responsible for the operating model, strategic execution, and large-scale transformation of the global function. His remit spans stewardship, assurance and advisory, risk modelling, and control operations, with a focus on improving effectiveness, accelerating execution, and modernising how Risk and Compliance operates at scale across a complex, highly regulated global organisation.

Michele has led the digitalisation strategy and delivery of major regulatory and technology change across global trading and treasury activities, including the transformation of risk platforms, data and analytics capabilities, and operating processes to support stronger decision-making and resilience.

He has held senior leadership roles across Europe and Asia and previously worked at the Bank of England across supervision and international regulatory policy, contributing to the development of international regulatory frameworks.

He holds a PhD in Quantitative Finance and has published academic papers in this field.
