Steve Mwangangi is part of the investment team at Seven Capital Ventures, a venture capital fund with a dual mandate of supporting early-stage startups that use scalable, technology-enabled solutions in emerging and developed markets. He leads sourcing and due diligence while contributing to the firm’s strategy for backing high-growth ventures and enabling effective exit pathways.

He previously worked with Future Africa, one of the continent’s most active early-stage investor networks, where he evaluated companies across multiple markets and supported the implementation of Accelerate Africa, the Fund's accelerator. He earlier practiced as a corporate lawyer at Bowmans, a leading pan-African law firm, advising on venture and private equity transactions across the region.

Steve brings a multidisciplinary lens across investing, regulation, and deal strategy, with a growing focus on liquidity creation, and structured exits in African venture.
