Ishar Sawhney is a Senior Credit Analyst at Ironshield Capital with over 13 years’ experience across US and European credit markets. He specialises in deep fundamental research across distressed and stressed corporates, complex capital structures, restructurings and structured credit, contributing directly to idea generation and portfolio construction across Ironshield’s strategies. Prior to Ironshield, Ishar held investment roles at Goldman Sachs, Citadel and Hildene Capital, with experience spanning high-yield, leveraged finance, structured products and multi-strategy credit. At Hildene, he helped develop the industry’s first CLO joint-venture structure focused on bankruptcy and reorganisation opportunities, contributing to the platform winning CreditFlux’s Best New Credit Fund Award in 2021. He holds dual degrees from Boston University in Finance & Accounting and Economics, both awarded Summa Cum Laude.
