Pankaj Tibrewal is a Cofounder and General Partner at Carbide Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Palo Alto and Tokyo focused on Enterprise AI. He invests in Seed and Series A companies across the Enterprise AI stack.

Pankaj is an entrepreneur turned operator turned VC. Most recently, he served as CEO of Treasure Data, a leading enterprise customer data platform, where he led the company’s acquisition by SoftBank. Previously, he founded four companies including Chartcube, a collaborative BI platform leveraging AI to auto-generate insights, which was acquired by Anaplan, where he went on to lead product management. Pankaj also worked at McKinsey & Company and Herman Miller, and led Pantaloons, one of India’s iconic retail chains.

Pankaj holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
