Umang is a Director in the Private Markets team at bfinance, specialising in Private Debt. He has more than 11 years of experience advising institutional investors, with particular expertise in private markets and alternative investments. At bfinance, he works with institutional clients globally, supporting investors across Europe, Asia and North America on manager selection, portfolio construction and strategic private markets allocations.

Prior to joining bfinance, Umang held a senior role at Barnett Waddingham as an Investment Consultant and Head of Alternative Research, where he led research and strategy across private markets while supporting client delivery. Earlier in his career, he worked at Willis Towers Watson, advising institutional clients on funding and investment strategy. He began his career at OCBC, contributing to regulatory oversight and risk monitoring.

Umang is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA), holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and has completed the CFA Certificate in Private Markets and Alternative Investments.
