Joanna Berg is the Head of Alternative Investments Advisor Consulting for BNY Wealth. In this role she is responsible for providing alternative investment advice to Advisors and clients of the firm, plays a key role in developing new solutions across hedge funds and private markets, and drives new idea generation that shapes alternative investment strategy. Joanna brings over 23 years of experience in the private markets and prior to joining BNY in 2020 held investment roles within the private markets at Morgan Stanley and Citigroup.

Joanna received her MBA degree from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Fordham University. Joanna also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.
