Alex Bangash is the founder of Transpose Platform, an early-stage venture platform backing frontier founders and the funds that accelerate them. Since its inception in 2015, Transpose has invested in 120+ funds and 650+ companies, and was an early supporter of Cursor, Xanadu, Groq, Periodic Labs, OpenRouter, and others. Prior to Transpose, Alex served as an investment advisor to endowments, foundations, family offices, insurance firms, sovereign wealth funds, and pension funds, deploying over $10 billion across more than 50 funds. His clients invested in firms such as First Round Capital, Founders Fund, Emergence, Crystal Towers, and Baseline. Alex also co-founded Trusted Insight, a networking platform for 40,000+ institutional investors, and previously held engineering and executive roles at AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Bell Labs, and GE. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School, an M.Eng. in Operations Research from Cornell, and a BS in Computer Science, English, and Economics from Cornell.
