Joseph Kyu Shik Choi is a Managing Director at BNW Investment, a Seoul-based technology private equity firm founded by the former President of Samsung Electronics' semiconductor manufacturing business. He invests across the AI and semiconductor supply chain, having led control buyouts of Korean suppliers to NVIDIA's optical data-center ecosystem and to Samsung and SK hynix, and a cross-border investment alongside Samsung Ventures. Previously he led advanced-materials M&A at SK Inc., including SK Siltron's US$450m acquisition of DuPont's silicon carbide business. He is an engineer by training and a Korean patent attorney by profession, with an LL.M. from UCLA.
