Junji Kurokawa

Junji Kurokawa has served as Managing Director of JETRO Singapore since March 2025, leading JETRO's trade, investment, and business development activities in Singapore.

With more than 30 years of experience in international trade and investment promotion, he has held leadership positions across JETRO's global network, including assignments in the United States and Canada. He was seconded to Eurasia Group, a leading geopolitical risk consultancy, where he worked with senior business leaders and policymakers on global economic and geopolitical issues.

Mr. Kurokawa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Keio University in Tokyo.

Outside work, he enjoys exploring Singapore's hawker culture and is still conducting extensive research into the city's best chicken rice.
