Markus Bannwart is Managing Director of UI Germany and UI BVK, as well as Head of Private Markets at Universal Investment. He is responsible for the group-wide product unit, which covers the entire range of alternative investment services. This includes infrastructure, private equity, private debt, hedge funds and securitisation, as well as the structuring of complex investment projects and their implementation on Universal Investment’s platforms in Germany, Luxembourg and Ireland.
Markus Bannwart has over 25 years of experience in alternative investments. Prior to joining Universal Investment in 2015, he worked at Commerz Real, Deka Immobilien, Aurelis Real Estate and Deutsche Bahn.
