Our rich heritage in the Chicago Stockyards dates back 100+ years to when our founder began peddling meat to grocers. In 1972, the Miniat family acquired South Chicago Packing, solidifying our ties to the neighborhood. Though we no longer pack meat, we appreciate our company’s rich, historic past which is reflected in our name. We have been in the Animal Fats business for over 50 years and specialize in supplying beef tallow to national, regional and independent restaurants.
