Abby Massey brings technical excellence to the world of business development.

As a Professional Engineer — licensed in 47 states — and a LEED-accredited professional, Abby’s industry expertise helps her truly understand her clients’ projects. Prior to tax consulting, Abby spent almost a decade specializing in commercial building design, which allows her to fluently speak the “language” of construction, architecture, and engineering. Abby has a special interest in sustainable construction, the built environment, and energy incentives, and finds her work in this sphere particularly meaningful.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Purdue University

Experience

• Led 179D department, responsible for project management, quality control, professional engineering, and energy modeling. Oversaw 1,200 179D studies, delivering $45M in revenue.
• Directed Energy Incentive Practice, overseeing all incentives under energy umbrella and yielding over $100 million in delivered benefit.
• Supervised cost segregation studies for clients in multiple verticals, including multifamily, manufacturing, recreation, non-profit, etc.

• Abby is an athlete who enjoys sailing and running. When she’s not being active, she’s probably cuddled up with her two cats, Skip and Pepper.
