Erica McLaughlin is the Managing Director of Property Management for RangeWater Residential's Southwest division where she oversees a portfolio of communities across Arizona, Colorado, and Texas. Leading a team of Regional Managers and Directors, she is responsible for operational performance, client relationships, and the strategic initiatives that drive growth across the region. She partners closely with the firm's Business Development team to expand RangeWater's presence with both new and existing clients.

Erica joined RangeWater in 2020 with more than a decade of multifamily experience spanning nine states. She began her career as a traveling startup manager, directing onsite transitions, rebranding, and repositioning efforts for newly acquired value-add assets across more than a dozen markets nationwide. She was later promoted to Regional Manager in Phoenix, where she oversaw the Southwest portfolio across Texas, Arizona, and Southern California.

Over the course of her career, she has led a wide range of communities—including value-add, LIHTC, stabilized, student housing, lease-up, and renovation properties—throughout the Southeast and Southwest.

A Charleston, South Carolina native, Erica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Public Relations and Advertising) with a minor in Business from Anderson University. She is an active member of the National Apartment Association (NAA) and the Arizona Multihousing Association (AMA). She was named a finalist for Supervisor of the Year at the 2019 AMA Tribute Awards and a top-three finalist for Executive of the Year in 2023.

Erica lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with her husband, Nate, and their son.
