Eduardo González has vast experience in Foreign Direct Investment promotion and assisting international companies locate suppliers and contract manufacturers in Mexico. Currently he is the President of 258 Consulting LLC. The company takes its name from the 258 stone monuments or obelisks that where place back in the middle of the 1800's to mark the border between Mexico and the US. At 258 Consulting we help companies on both sides of the US and Mexico border to find solutions for their sourcing, manufacturing and sales expansion goals, we believe that walls and fences are not the solution while recognizing that the two countries are business partners and that together are a great force that can compete in international markets. Previously Mr. Gonzalez was appointed Trade Commissioner of Mexico at ProMexico for Arizona and Nevada and before that he was the State Director for Baja California, Mexico at ProMexico. Earlier he served as commercial delegate for Mexican Export Development Bank (Bancomext) in The Hague, Netherlands, prior to this he held several positions at Bancomext as a Credit Risk Manger and International Business Development Manager
