Sustainability at Patient Pathways Congress
We are committed to the Patient Pathways Congress having a positive impact on people and planet. We want to play a key role in helping the Bio/Pharma industry improve its own sustainability by connecting people with the networks and knowledge they need to help solve the big challenges of the future.
We are proud to deliver you a sustainable event through several initiatives noted below.
Digital Event Agenda
In lieu of distributing a printed agenda, we will deliver an environmentally-friendly digital agenda through our ConnectMe app.
Lanyards & Name Tages
We will be using a TerraCycle Zero Waste Box to recycle used lanyards and nametags after the event.
Renewable Energy
As a part of our continued commitment to the sustainability of this conference, we have switched to 100% renewable electricity for our event. This makes our electricity usage carbon neutral and significantly reduces the carbon footprint of our event.

At the Patient Pathways conference, we want everyone to feel like they belong and for our communities to feel inspired and benefit from the diverse identities, innovation and ideas we showcase.
Our ‘Better Stands’ Approach
Through our commitment to the evolution of the exhibitions industry, we aim to ensure that we are delivering the best possible experience for our customers. We believe that by moving away from the use of disposable exhibition booths we will improve the ease, quality, safety and sustainability of the exhibitor experience at our events. We aim to further minimize exhibition waste by removing carpet in our aisles, using digital signage options as much as possible or using eco cardboard. Finally, encouraging our exhibitors to minimize handouts by utilizing our digital download QR code technology at their booths.
Wellbeing
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle can make a huge difference to your wellbeing and physical and mental performance, whether in the office, at home or at an event. At the Patient Pathways conference, we have incorporated wellbeing activities into the agenda, hydration stations and more.
Corporate Social Responsibility Activity
The Patient Pathways Conference is partnering with local Philadelphia organization Safe-Hub to create winter clothing kits.
Safe-Hub provides a physically and emotionally safe space for young people to access opportunities and support through programs ranging from early childhood through high school and beyond. Our goal is to bring high-quality programming and supportive services to our community: a one-stop-shop for families to receive support through the stigma-free platform of coming to soccer practice and community events.
To achieve this, we are committed to:
Embed sustainability into our brand by 2025 to inspire our sector to be more sustainable, promoting the achievement of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals
Become carbon neutral, halve our waste and save customers more carbon than we emit by 2025 as a stepping stone to being zero waste and net zero carbon by 2030 or earlier
Contribute value of at least 1% of profit before tax to community groups by 2025, champion diversity and inclusion and create value for our host cities

If you’ve already downloaded the app, please make sure that you update your app ahead of the event.
