Lawrence Weller was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and was fortunate to be raised by his loving mother Dr. Penny S. Weller, and loving sister Dr. Bridget E. Weller. They helped instill in him a Midwestern work ethic and a prioritizing of the content of character over everything else when interacting with the world.

With this upbringing, he made his way to San Diego during the great recession (November 2008) in hopes of sunshine and opportunity. He found both and quickly started building roots and relationships there. At first, the only work he could find was selling appliances at a National Retailer. After a few months, he was asked to interview for a position in the financial services industry which turned out to be a true blessing. From there started his now 15+ year journey in building his own Financial Planning and Wealth Management practice.

With business moving more digital in 2020, Lawrence decided to fully embrace the ability to work from anywhere (something he calls “Zoomification”). With this move to a digital landscape, he now calls home beautiful Miami Beach, FL. With Zoomification in place, he looks forward to growing his practice nationwide for families and individuals who want to have one trusted relationship that provides world-class service in every aspect of their financial picture with efficiency as a cornerstone.

Personally, Lawrence enjoys activities like practicing stoicism, volunteering, mentoring, weight training, yoga, and going for bike rides.
