Kathy Szkutnik is the SBA Servicing and Liquidation Manager at United Community Bank with more than 25 years of banking experience, including 18 years focused on SBA servicing and liquidation. She leads a team of five Workout Officers and specializes in adversely risk-rated credits, restructurings, and liquidation strategies. Prior to joining United Community, Kathy held positions with Byline Bank, Banco Popular, and Merrill Lynch Business Financial Services, where she developed extensive expertise in loan quality management and workout solutions. A graduate of DePaul University, Kathy was born and raised in Chicago and has a strong understanding of the needs of small business borrowers.
