Ellecia has 24 years investment market experience. She started her career as an analyst at Macquarie Bank before moving to Abu Dhabi and joining the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (2007-2015) where she was a Portfolio Manager running the Australian/ Asia Pacific and Global Materials Funds.

In 2015 she started MaysaAron. A boutique advisory firm working with corporate institutions wanting to connect intelligently with the Middle East and Asia Pacific.

She has lived and worked in Abu Dhabi for 2 decades, is on the Advisory Board for the AUS UAE Business Council and the Global Council & Middle East committee for 100WIF. In 2018 she was one of 100 recipients in the UAE for an award in the late Sheikh Zayed's honour for contributions to the UAE business community and in 2024 was awarded the Australia Legacy Award at the Business Council Australia Awards for contributions in the bilateral relationship in business, ethics and community for more than 10 years.
