Kaushal heads the Illiquid Alternatives Group at the India headquartered, Alpha Alternatives.

Established in 2013, Alpha Alternatives is a multi-asset class investment and asset management platform focused on generating differentiated alpha through proprietary insights, deep market expertise and long-term partnerships across Liquid Alternatives, Illiquid Alternatives and Beta++ strategies spanning Equities, Commodities, Credit, Fixed Income, Quant, Infrastructure and Real Estate.

Kaushal is the Fund Manager for the Structured Credit and Build India Infrastructure Fund. He also oversees the Real Estate initiatives and structuring across the firm.

He began his career with Ernst & Young’s M&A team before joining the Essar Group, where he played a pivotal role in structuring complex deals and managing high-stakes negotiations. Notably, he led one of India’s largest FDI transactions and the execution of one of the country's largest corporate delistings.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Kaushal is a faculty member of the Art of Living Foundation, conducting meditation programs for corporate professionals, youth and rural communities in India.

Kaushal is a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai and a Chartered Accountant (All India Rank 22).
