Stephen Richards Evans was formerly Regional CEO of Global Private Banking at HSBC ME; Head of Private Banking EMEA, India and the Americas and Global Head of UHNW for Standard Chartered Private Bank which he co-founded. Held senior leadership roles at Coutts & Co and Lloyds. His career spans private banking, wealth management, corporate finance, private equity and family offices largely across the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

Today, Stephen is Executive Chairman and Partner at Red Lions Capital, a firm specializing in private-market research and institutional access to late-stage technology pre-IPO opportunities. Red Lions Capital works with financial institutions across the Middle East, Asia and internationally, enabling private-market investments to be distributed through established banking and wealth-management channels and accessed digitally by their clients.

A Harvard Business School alumnus, Stephen focuses on the convergence of private wealth, private markets and technology, particularly how financial institutions can provide their clients with more efficient access to high-growth companies staying private for longer.
